1. The first step is an invitation for your child to send the school store "link" to 8 people! That step alone, allows your child to receive school store's yearly prize once you return their prize entry code. For 2025/2026, that was the Book Buddies!

2. Before you send out the emails, it may be beneficial to provide some warning to friends and family that there are 4 options, but the options to purchase gift cards for books for your child, or to donate right to your child's teacher, can only be used at the school store website! This was often confusing for people as they engaged in opening the autogenerated emails.

3. Once you submit the emails, those recipients receive automatic emails generated from school store, providing them with 4 options to support the student.

 

4. Option 4, is "shop big Merchants" - which is the year long initiative we are trying to push as it is year long, and not asking more of people than to continue doing their same online shopping that they already do! Do you remember Amazon smile? Do you use Rakuten? It is sort of like that! If you shop at over hundreds of the listed merchants utilizing their school store link, a percentage of your purchase will be donated back to the PTO!​

5. After the initial push of sending out emails, the rest of the year is remembering to do your online shopping through the school store link!  Pro Tip: Add the school store merchant option to your homepage on your phone!
